The Search for Relief
I refused to give up and, like many others, I tried everything—new shoes, foot soaks, and even stretching routines.
I started with physical therapy, but the sessions were nearly out of my budget, and the nearest clinic was an exhausting two-hour drive each way.
Then, I turned to painkillers and anti-inflammatory medications, but they quickly took a toll on my stomach after just a week of use.
I even experimented with toe wraps and gel pads, hoping for relief, but they barely stayed in place and didn’t seem to make any real difference.
Surgery loomed as the last resort, but, like so many, I simply couldn’t justify the cost or the long recovery time.
